Yellow Pages Directory Ad Samples. Completed in 2000 while working at Q Advertising (San Jose, CA). Created the ads using Photoshop, Illustrator and finalized in Quark Xpress.


Music Flyer #1 Sample completed in 2007 while working at home business (Poway, CA).
Created the Flyer by starting in Illustrator and finalized in Photoshop.

Precision Graphics Systems

Title: Graphic Artist/Screen Printer

• Equipment & software: Mac OS X and PC formats, Freehand MX to 8, Illustrator CS2 to 9, Photoshop CS to 4, Pagemaker 6, Quark 3.2, Corel Draw, Universal Laser Systems Inc. M-300 Laser Cutter.
• Duties: Graphic Design, from art concept to finished product. Working with either customer supplied art or create art from scratch, guided by mechanical drawings, and/or actual raw parts to be printed on. Setting up files with precise dimensions, building correct size, placing embossing markers, going through entire proofing process while directly working with customer, e-mailing art file to Service Bureau for film output, and QC delivered film. Laser cutting duties: set up files for cutting, cleaning and maintenance of machine, set-up and cut material. When needed, hands on precision silk screen printing and cleaning of screens.
• Products I have created artwork for:
close tolerance overlays, labels, nameplates, film, signs, decals, panels, membrane switch panels and keypads.

• Equipment: Gerber SignMaker II, all materials used for vinyl and sign painting.

• Duties: Sign design layout in Gerber; cut, weed, put on transfer tape, sqweegie onto material (windows, MDO wood, banners etc). From preparing MDO, PVC, Sign Foam, Acrylic Plexiglass to final painting or vinyl application. Projected images drew and cut pounce patterns. Cut letters out of Sign Foam with bandsaw.  Ponced wall layouts, hand painted letters and images with maul stick (old traditional sign painting techniques).  Fine Art Mural work.

Stripped-up all film and burned metal plates, also provided laser paper plates. Worked closely with in-house pressman and bindery department.
